The Vampire Diaries executive producer Kevin Williamson recently announced that he would be developing a 'companion' show to his smash CW series - involving a group of college-aged paranormal investigators - and he's now revealing more details about what he wants to accomplish with the series!
He explains:

It's bad enough to be so violent, but to do it in front of an impressionable 12-year-old jus takes things to a whole new level!
Darius McCrary, best known for playing Eddie Winslow on Family Matters, has been temporarily ordered to stay at least 100 yards away from his ex-wife after allegedly ruthlessly attacking her not once, but twice in the past year.
Back in February, Karrine Steffans accused Darius of choking her "from behind" and beating her with a belt during a heated argument. Making things worse, Karrine also claims that her 12-year-old son was witness to the attack! Horrible!
But it gets worse!
Karrine claims Darius attacked her again in November while at the Sunset Marquis Hotel in L.A. Allegedly, Darius shoved her into a car and began to choke her again in front of a large crowd of people.
Because of these incidents, Karrine had been given the temporary restraining order, but she has scheduled another court appearance to ask for it to become permanent.
Yeah, we think its best that the two of them stay far away from each other. As we recall, she isn't so innocent herself. Something about hitting him with her own car shortly before the two got married. yeah, that sounds about right.
