Hip-hop beats are popular among a wide range of people. A lot of people will say 'down with country' or that rap and techno are too much, but hip-hop has been known to get approval from almost everyone it touches. Hip-hop doesn't make you cringe a bit in embarrassment if other people happen to hear it. It also isn't obnoxious to the point where you can only listen to it once every blue moon.
